Dr. Byron Bush Announces Senate Run “It’s Time to Take on the Swamp—in DC and Tennessee”
Updated: Nov 7, 2019
Nashville, TN — Today, Dr. Byron Bush announced his campaign for Tennessee’s open U.S. Senate seat in the 2020 election, saying:
“For too long, we’ve seen a toxic insider culture where public officials look out for their own best interests, not the interests of the American people. If you’re rich and powerful, no problem. But if you’re a regular guy like me, it’s hard to get a fair shake.
I believe our state, and our nation, can do better. That’s why I’m running for the U.S. Senate. I’ll take on corruption in DC and Tennessee.
When my wife and I were targeted by a greedy, deceitful bank, we looked to the justice system to protect us. Instead, we found judges willing to ignore the clear language of a contract in order to benefit their friends and colleagues.
I’m an outsider with a simple message: vote for honesty and integrity. It matters.”
The Bush for Senate Campaign also released its first paid advertisement, linked below. The ad buy includes significant saturation on TV and digital platforms in markets statewide.
“Corrupt Judges” Ad
“Fake news? What about fake justice?
What about corrupt judges who break their oath of office and are biased, giving favors to the rich and powerful?
How can we be a nation of laws if the judges are corrupt?
That’s why I’m calling for an investigation and the impeachment of Judge James Martin and Appellate Judge Frank Clement.
It’s time for judicial reform.
I’m Byron Bush, running for U.S. Senate, and I want you to know…It Matters!”
